Front-End Shopify Developer

In this role, you will be responsible for implementing Shopify storefronts based on Figma designs, making sure every detail is accurately represented in the final theme.

You will also collaborate closely with designers during the design process, helping select the right Shopify theme and guiding design decisions so they align with Shopify’s structure, capabilities, and best practices.

• Transform Figma designs into Shopify themes with pixel-perfect accuracy.
• Develop and customize Shopify themes using Liquid, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Shopify best practices.
• Work closely with designers to ensure the final storefront matches the approved design.
• Help evaluate and choose the right Shopify theme based on each project’s needs.
• Support the design team by identifying theme limitations and opportunities before development starts.
• Adapt Figma layouts to fit the selected Shopify theme while preserving the design intent.
• Build responsive, optimized, and user-friendly storefront experiences.
• Ensure high-quality implementation across desktop, tablet, and mobile devices.
• Maintain clean, organized, and scalable front-end code.
• Collaborate with project managers, designers, developers, QA, and other team members.
• Identify technical challenges early and propose practical solutions.
• Ensure the final result respects both the client’s brand and Shopify’s best practices.

• Experience with Shopify Plus projects.
• Experience with Shopify Online Store 2.0.
• Experience working with metafields, metaobjects, and dynamic sources.
• Experience with Shopify theme performance optimization.
• Experience with accessibility best practices.
• Experience with animation libraries or advanced front-end interactions.
• Experience working with version control tools such as Git or GitHub.
• Basic understanding of Shopify apps, integrations, and storefront APIs.
